Ski Communities
The basic definition of a “ski-in/ski-out” property or development technically means that you are approximately within a 100-yards to ski access. Another way of explaining it is that you can ski directly into or out of your property/development or be able to access a ski easement via a short walk within the development.
Ski-in/ski-out properties are usually the most desired properties within a ski resort town as they provide convenience and quick access to the slopes for the homeowners and they may also translate to higher rental income for nightly, weekly or monthly rentals.
While many ski resorts in America are located a distance from any town or community and are considered a “destination”, Park City definitely differs in that regard. The town of Park City and the ski resorts (Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort, and the Canyons Village) are intertwined making it the ideal place to live, work, play all wrapped into one.
