Powder Mountain with its 150+ runs and over 8,400 acres of skiable terrain (including back-country), is the hidden gem of Utah skiing. About 3,000 of the acres are accessed by traditional lifts and an additional 5,000 (approximate) acres are accessed by hiking or snowcat tours. Additionally, Powder Mountain puts a cap on the number of day tickets sold so the mountain is never crowded and overrun with skiers. The area receives and average of 500 inches of snow per year and lifts generally run from Thanksgiving to mid-April (weather dependent).
In 2013 the global Summit Series community purchased the resort and saved it from being overdeveloped and commercialized and to ensure that it is a purpose-driven, diverse community balanced with nature.
Powder Mountain is just east of Eden, Utah and offers not only stunning surroundings and views but affordable housing for year-round residents and rental investors.
