Empire Pass Ski Properties
Empire Pass is a master-planned community located at “mid-mountain” and is located at the highest elevation of the greater Deer Valley Resort. Situated just a quick drive away to historic Old Town Park City, restaurants, shopping, art galleries and more, convenience is the perfect name for this area. Empire Pass is comprised of approximately 1,600 acres and includes luxury ski in/ski out homes, townhomes and slope-side condos offering incredible views of the surrounding mountains and vistas. Empire Pass sits alongside the slopes of Flagstaff Mountain and is home to several of the most exquisite ski lodges around. There are a growing number of spas, restaurants and après ski places perfect for a fun and relaxing place to enjoy after a long day of skiing! Empire Pass is one of the most desirable areas of Park City for owning a vacation home. Property owners in Empire Pass may enjoy the opportunity to purchase a membership to the Talisker Club which allows them to utilize amenities such as access to The Tower Club at Deer Valley (restaurant, ski lockers, fitness center, pool and spa) along with golf at the renowned Tuhaye golf community.
Empire Pass Luxury Real Estate
Empire Pass sits at approximately 8,900 +/- foot elevation…perfect for skiing in the winter and getting out of the summer heat for a long hike or bike ride. Nearby, enjoy a hike along Empire Pass trail where you will enjoy views of Clayton Peak, Deer Creek Reservoir and Park City and treks through the trees of the Deer Valley ski area. The trail works its way up about 1.6 miles to the top of Deer Valley’s Empire Express chairlift. Often this is the turn-around point for most people, but you can continue on past Monkey’s Lift at the Park City Mountain Resort. From there you will be able to see Thaynes Canyon and the Iron Mountain Trail overlook.
Also, close by is Guardsman Pass. Sitting at 9,717 feet elevation in the Wasatch Mountains, the Pass is located on the edges of the Unita-Wasatch-Cache National Forest to the west and Bonanza Flats backcountry to the east. It is located south of the Tri-County Peak (Summit, Wasatch and Salt Lake counties). It is the trailhead for many trails in the area and provides for snowmobiling with access to Clayton Peak and incredible hiking in the off-ski season. Fully paved, Guardsman Pass Road connects to Big Cottonwood Canyon on the west and Midway on the east. Guardsman Pass Road is closed in the winter (usually November to May) due to extreme amounts of snow.
