On paper, Woods' golf course may not be for the faint of heart. That is because it is expected to be over 7,000 yards long.

However, you have to remember that Park City is pretty far above sea level. As a result, golf balls are likely going to travel further and it will be easier to hit it a decent distance. 

With that in mind, Woods intends to challenge golfers by having every par 5 hole be over 600 yards. On top of this, he may even have a par 3 hole that is nearly 300 yards long.

Another benefit to living in Marcella will be the dining options that you will have nearby your lodging. Some of the most notable things in this development include a rooftop bar and a French restaurant. 

On top of this, for those that want to get a little more energy before they start skiing, there is a coffee shop available for those needs. If none of those suit your needs, you can walk around the Old Town area until you find something that matches what you are looking for. 

Jordanelle State Park

For those of you that are looking for other activities besides skiing near your lodging, you could head over to this state park. The Jordanelle Reservoir centers this state park, and it is somewhere you can go fishing, jet skiing, and kayaking. 

On top of this, there are hiking trails such as the SkyRidge Trailhead and Ross Creek Trailhead available nearby. If you want a different type of nature escapes nearby, this can be the place where you find it. 

Near Salt Lake City 

Something else that you should consider is that Marcella Club is not far from Salt Lake City. It takes less than 40 minutes to drive from there to the city. 

For those that are looking for a good day trip near their home, Salt Lake City has several options that can fit just that. 

For starters, you can go to the Great Salt Lake. It can be a unique experience for those that have never been in a saltwater lake before. 

Then, if you want to get an adrenaline rush, you can go bobsledding in the city for a price. However, that is not the only thing in the city that can give you an adrenaline rush. 

Lagoon Amusement Park is also in the Salt Lake City area. It has 10 roller coasters and the star attraction there is Cannibal. This roller coaster goes up 208 feet, has a 116-degree drop, and has a maximum speed of 68 miles per hour that you do not want to miss.
